About Me Dr. Ashok Jhunjhunwala is a distinguished figure, renowned for his contributions in technology and advisory roles. With a background in B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and MS/PhD from the University of Maine, he has been a distinguished Institute Professor at IIT Madras since 1981. A Padma Shri awardee, he has also served on the boards of prominent organizations such as SBI, Sasken, TTML, BEL, Polaris, and Tejas. Dr. Jhunjhunwala's legacy extends to incubating multiple technology companies, and he previously held the position of Principal Advisor to the Ministry of Power, Government of India.
