Why Sodium-ion and why now?
– First generation cells are already in commercial production
– Lower carbon emissions than Li-ion based cells
– Significantly lower risk of thermal runaway
– Superior performance at extreme temperatures
– Lower cell cost compared to Li-ion

> 40 to 50 km range per charge
> 30 mins fast charging
> 3000+ cycles with fast charging
> 15% capacity loss even in extreme temperatures (-20 ‘C & +55 ‘C)
